Roger L. Smoot, son of Louise Adkins of Washington, graduated May 28 from Radford University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology.
He was also a recipient of the Outstanding Senior Award, as voted by his fellow students, in capping c^femoni^i held May T9.
Smoot was recently selected by the Joint Editorial Board of the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge, England, and the American Biographical Institute of Raleigh, N.C., “...for biographical inclusion in International Youth in Achievement for outstanding contributions to the future of society.”
Roger was a 1978 honor graduate of Rppahannock County High School.
