The Golden Eagle Passport, the annual entrance permit for national parks, is now on sale at entrance stations in Shenandoah National Park, Sunerintendent Robert R. Ji' ibsen announced.

fhe Golden Eagle admits the permit holder and accompanying passengers traveling in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle to the 63 national park areas in the United States that charge entrance fees.

Jacobsen pointed out that the $10 cost of the Golden Eagle has remained the same ■ for 10 years. Those who plan several visits to national park areas that charge entrance fees will save by buying the Golden Eagle Passport rather than paying individual entrance fees. Daily entrance fees at Shenandoah National Park are 50 cents per bus passenger or $2 per car.
