Summer camps have come a long way since the days when kids loaded up in surplus school buses and survived a two or three week sentence at Camp Tomahawk.
Through the efforts of Norman Dodl, professor of curriculum and instruction (C&I), and John Burton, assistant professor of C&I, the first Virginia Tech Computer Camp will be held this summer. The camp is described as an intensive, hands-on experience which will offer the camper both computer instruction and the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities on campus and in the surrounding countryside.
