Laura Pendleton were given the Presidential Physical Fitness Award by assistant principal Richard Witten at the RaDDahannock Countv Elementary School. The award is earned by those registering in the 85th percentile or above. The winners must excel in all of the events.
The first fatality of the year occured over the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. The person killed resided in Culpeper County. Another single car accident hospitalized two men after they had a serious accident on Route 211.
