To the editor:

On June 16th of this year, I was issued a building permit to convert a structure into an apartment for the purpose of housing my two employees.

On July 12th, after spending substantial time and money on renovation, I was informed by Zoning Administrator David Konick that my building permit had been revoked because the land may partially be in Floodplain District. I was then told that if the Health Department would approve a septic systen^my building permit would be reinstated.

The Health Department told me there would be no perk test until the floodplain boundary had been determined. The Health Department referred me to the Soil Conservation Service (S.C.S.) in Culpeper.
