Charles Nelson West, 50, of Herndon, died Friday, July 29, 1983, in Alexandria Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Wilson-Smith Funeral Home in Frederick, Md.
Mr. West was horn August 27, 1932, in Front Royal, the son of the late Joseph R. and Katie Tyler West. He was employed with the U. S. Postal Service in Dulles.
Surviving are a son, Joseph R. West of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Larraine Mullins of Fredericksburg and two grandchildren.
Also surviving are nine brothers, Donald West and Lloyd West, both of Front Royal, James F. West of Rappahannock County, Francis M. West, Stuart H. West, Lewis B. West of Fredericksburg, Joseph L. West of Fairfax, Warren W. West of Pennsylvania and William West of Texas and three sisters, Mary Piorkowski of Los Angeles, Calif., Ruth Huffer of Manassas and Barbara Crawford of Front Royal.
