A drama presenting 150 years of Rappahannock history is included in RAAC’s sesquicentennial celebration. While try-outs will be held at the Gav Street Theater August 4-5 and 11 at 7 p.m., director Catherine Kiley says the main characters will be cast before the authors are sure who they are.
Kiley says improvisation will be used at try-outs and during early rehearsals to choose the main actors and then to help the writers work out the scenes. The story line will be based on oral history interviews currently being gathered by several RAAC research volunteers. _
