Job Training
John Capelle, executive director of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission, was before the board to ask that chairman Latham be designated to act in the county’s behalf on matters related to the new Job Training Partnership program. In the process, he echoed criticism of the public school systems that has been leveled recently in both national and state reports.
The supervisors passed a resolution last February supporting the Job Training Partnership which will replace CETA (Comprehensive Employment Training Act) October 1. All the federal funds allocated to this program will have to be
