Ruth Blackwell was at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, N. C. during the week of July 18. While she was there she made a stole and a wall hanging which is on display in the court building. She also stopped to visit her brother in Hayesville.
Houseguests last week of Mrs. Harold Havstad and son, Peter were Harold Havstad, Jr. and son, Todd of McAfee, N.J. Luncheon and dinner guests on Saturday were Miss Bemardine Wilson of Sun City, Arizona and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Frieders (the former Twyla Youngman) of Falls Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown, Catherine Brown, Mrs. Dennis Wingfield and Mrs. Mary Quaintance attended the annual meeting of the E.M.S. at Graves Mt. Lodge near Syria last Friday.
