altered buildings will be open to the public. Free shuttle bus service will be provided from Byrd Visitor Center at Big Meadows (Milepost 51) on the Skyline Drive, between 9 and 4:30 each day. Ranger-guided hikes will depart from the Visitor Center at 9:30 on both days. Participants are advised to wear appropriate footwear for the three mile walk.
