Class Set
Childbirth With Preparation Association is offering a special two hour class for expectant parents or for those planning a pregnancy in the near future.
The class will include discussions about the growth and development of the baby, physical and emotional changes in pregnancy, nutrition for the mother and baby, use of medications, smoking and drinking during pregnancy, choosing an obstetrician and pediatrician, help for common discomforts of pregnancy, prenatal exercises, familycentered maternity care, and a birth film will be shown.
The early pregnancy class will meet August 9 from 8-10 p.m. in Warrenton. Mrs. Vergie Hughes, R.N., will be the instructor. Couples may register for the class by calling 347-0714.
