William Silas Deal, 78, of Culpeper, died Monday, August 1, 1983, at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Taylor and Savilla Burke Deal. He was retired from the Coca-Cola Company and was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church, Odd Fellow Lodge and Modern Woodmens.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Parker Deal of Culpeper; a sister, Mrs. Savilla D. Doggett of Culpeper and three brothers, Lewis Deal and Nelson Deal, both of Culpeper and Raymond Deal of Reva.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper by the Rev. John S. Farrar.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
