“Also that property’s zoned industrial,” Konick said, adding that he believed even the 6.8 acres fell in that zoning category. “Though with the maps, it’s hard to tell,” he acknowledged. (A later check showed the Fosters’ property as zoned agricultural).
Subdivision of Foster’s lot from the rest of the quarry property will leave a balance of nine to eleven acres, Konick continued. Other lots carved from the tract were all created after the county’s zoning and subdivision ordinances took effect, he said, adding that regulations will not change in the revised ordinances expected to be sent to the supervisors this fall for adoption.
