Revocation of my building permit by the zoning administrator, after the fact, has caused me serious and unnecessary financial setback. Of the numerous letters I received from the zoning administrator, not one suggested remedies to my dilemma but instead threatened me with fines and additional unfounded violations. Under recommendation of myjittorney I have employed a surveyor to determine the floodplain area but he was unable to do so because of the minute scale of the soil survey reports.
The county needs floodplairi ordinances but needs the maps first to enforce them adequately. This problem is the County’s and not mine. I hope this matter can be resolved soon.' TIMOTHY D. ROBINSON Flint Hill
