“Didn’t we put money in this year’s budget for a reassessment?” asked Hubert Gilkey.
“$25,000,” repUed Charles “Pete” Estes.
“That doesn’t mean we have to start it this year,” Wood countered. “We carry the money in there so we won’t have to pay for all (the reassessment cost) in one year.”
“It has to be deferred one year,” agreed Estes. “But I have reservations about postponing it for two. Land use values have to be addressed or we’ll be in trouble, as Mr. Eastham points out (see separate story).”
