The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution heard Mrs. Edgar Puryear, Jr. interestingly relate her experiences as a member of the NSDAR Resolutions Committee when the Chapter met at the Culpeper United Methodist Church Tuesday, November 8. Mrs. Puryear stated that members of Resolutions Committee are appointed by the President General NSDAR for a period of one year and the committee works long hours for the entire week prior to the National Congress meeting. All resolutions come from grassroots and each state may present six resolutions.
