An Original Play
“Voices of Rappahannock: An Original Play” will be performed Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10th at the Gay St. Theater. Tickets are $4.50 (general public), $3.50 (RAAC members) and $2.50 (students and seniors) and are now on sale at Middle St. Gallery, Nature’s Foods and the RAAC Office. Don’t miss this celebration of Rappahannock’s history as seen through the eyes of the oldest community members and told by a cast ranging from 6 to 87.

On The Future
Friday at 7:30 at the Gay St. Theater will be RAAC’s concluding forum in the “VOICES OF RAPPAHANNOCK” series.
The panel includes six community members who will look at various aspects of the future.
Eastern Star
The Mary Magdalene Chapter 208 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Front Royal, will celebrate its 32nd anniversary this Saturday, November 19, at the First Baptist Church in Washington at 7:30 p.m.
Rev. Howard Frye will be the guest speaker and the Voices of Inspiration from Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill will provide special music. All sisters of the Eastern Star and brothers of the Craft and friends are invited to attend.
EMS Meeting
There will be a Rappahannock/Rapidan EMS Council board of directors meeting on November 22 at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital conference room at 7:30 p.m. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
Special Turkey Shoot
A special turkey shoot sponsored by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, November 19, beginning at 11 a.m. at the fire hall grounds.
Amissville Churchwomen
To Host Christmas Sale
The Amissville United Methodist Women are having a Christmas gift shop sale at the church in Amissville on Saturday, November 19, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. An assortment of items will be sold, according to a church member. Lunch will be served and the support of the public would be appreciated.
