(Ann Oliver) falls in love with Bottom (Jim McCullough) after the prankster Puck (Peggy Stephenson) has turned him into a donkey and during the play within a play when the actors perform their interlude which is a parody on romantic plays. Master of Revels Gennie Hickman presents this while the rest of the cast heckles the “actors.” The favorite was the fierce “lion” (Timmy Settle) who seems to eat the lovely “lady” (Jon McCullough) breaking the heart of “her” suitor (Jim McCullough) who “kills” himself. The love scenes between the two McCullough brothers brought the house down and the versatility of Jim, the only underclassman in the play, was impressive
