dependent Insurance Agents of Illinois in 1977. It is presented each year to the state association which excels in all categories of federal affairs and gives the most outstanding service in legislative matters. The name of the winner is added to a plaque which hangs in Washington at the Independent Insurance Agents, the office from which Herndon viewed so much history.
