Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Clair ' Piper of Culpeper announce the marriage of their daughter, Susan Leslie to Lt. Timothy Allen Weathersbee of Fort McClellan, Alabama, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Aaron Weathersbee of South Hill.
The Reverend William H. Brake, Jr., former Rector of St. Stephen’s in Culpeper and current Rector of
k l^ick Ej^copal Chufch officiated at the double nng ceremony at 2 o’clock on Saturday, May 26, 1984, at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper.
The wedding music was performed by Mrs. Thomas M. Galloway, organist, Mrs. Howard H. Handorf, Mrs. Glenn C. Piper and Mr. Wallace K. Sherertz, soloists.
The wedding was a military wedding. The groomsmen formed the arch of crossed sabers outside the church over the heads of the bride and groom as they departed.
Decorations included flowers in the altar vases and in the re redos windows carrying out the lavendar and white color scheme of the wedding.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal gown of white taffeta with fitted bodice,
