Letters To The Editor The Rappahannock News invites letters to the editor from readers. This open invitation is subject to certain guidelines, however. All letters must be signed. Unsigned letters from writers requesting that their names be withheld or using a pseudonym will not be considered for publication.
Letters should be brief. No letter will be censored, but some may be shortened due to space limitations. Letters must be typed and double spaced. Letters considered libelous wll not be published. Writers should include both work and home phone numbers in case clarification is needed. Letters must reach the office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Letters are published as soon as space permits. They may not be published the week they are received.
