Among the lessons learned in Vietnam is one that we should not— albeit cannot—forget: to honor Americans who have died in service to their country. A memorial standing tall in Washington, D.C. and the entombment this week of an unknown soldier who perished during that conflict show this nation is growing up and growing tall, too.
