Korack explained the limitations on trailers in the county: “I bent the law when I issued her the permit at first. She had no place to live. The BZA further bent it a little to allow it. Right now, this is the only trailer in the county not in a trailer park. The Planning Commission recommends that temporary trader permits not be renewed. Now it’s been one year and five months and they had promised last year that it would be moved very soon.”
Swindler pointed out that temporary trailer permits are not granted to anyone building a home. ‘They’re ready for those who are living at the site because they’re actually doing the construction. Otherwise, why can’t they live at a trader court nearby?"
Bowers responded that her husband did plan to do much of the work and that the construction would start soon. “I can’t give you a definite date,” she said.
“I’d like to have a date,” said Kramer. “Can we check after three months to see how this has progressed?”
