Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot visited Humpy Smoot at the Life Care Center in New Market last Wednesday.
Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Smoot was their son, Bobby Smoot of Culpeper. Visting last Tuesday was another son, William Smoot, also of Culpeper.
Heather Aylor and Karen Corder were Saturday overnight guests of their grandmother, Mrs. Robert Nethers and her houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Dennis after attending the Clemson-UVA football game in Charlottesville. They were joined for the game by J.G. Russell of Winchester, Debbie Dennis and John Culp and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dennis. The Bill Dennis family were enroute to their home in Jackson, S.C. after spending a week visiting relatives here. Enroute to the game they all had dinner at Shoneys at Charlottesville.
Shelia Nicholson and Doris Vest motored to Winchester shopping and had lunch at the Bonanza Restaurant last Thursday.
Second Lt. Douglas Nichols left Sunday for Hanacome Air Force Base in Massachusetts after spending the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols and Leslie.
