has announced his candidacy for sheriff of Rappahannock subject to the general election in November. He has filed the necessary notices with the Clerk of the Court at Washington and with proper authorities in Richmond.
Miss Jean Kennedy of Slate Mills and Miss Jean Ruth Butler of Boston, both June 1969 graduates of Rappahannock County High School, are now employed in the Research Department of National Education Association in Washington, D.C.
