PEACH SEASON has almost come and gone, however there are a few late peaches around the county and the following recipes would make great fall evening desserts.

Fresh Peach Cookie Cobbler 4 cups sliced fresh peaches 1 cup sugar 3 T. tapioca Dash of nutmeg 2 tap. ascorbic acid powder 1 roll refrigerator cookie dough

Thoroughly mix fresh peaches, sugar, tapioca, nutmeg and ascorbic acid powder. Set aside. Slice cookie dough as if for baking in one-half inch slices. Line bottom and sides of a nine inch square baking pan with slices of cookie dough. Pour peach mixture over the slices and top with remaining slices. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 55 minutes or until cookie is brown and done. Milk or ice cream can be served on top. Serves Six. Gourmet Chicken Salad With Fresh

Peaches 2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed 3/4 cup celery 3/4 cup white seedless grapes 3/4 cup fresh peaches, cubed 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream Seasoning salt, to taste
