Norman Reunion The Norman reunion will be held Sunday, September 23 at V.F. W. in Luray. The building is located just east of Luray on Route 211. T^ose attending are asked to bring a picnic lunch and plan to eat around 1 p.m. “See you there,” said a family spokesperson.

Freeman Family Reunion The Freeman families of Gid Brown Hollow will have a reunion on Saturday, October 6 beginning at 12 noon at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Those attending are asked to bring a picnic lunch. It is rated R. “Blues To Jazz” An outdoor concert featuring John Jackson and Periscope Jazz Quartet of the Shenandoah Conservatory will be held Saturday, September 22 from 1 to 4:30 next to the Washington fire hall. Admission is $2.50 (students and seniors), $4.50 (RAAC members) and $5.50 (others). In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Gay Street Theater. This event is sponsored by RAAC.
Burke Family Reunion The descendants of the late Brew and Atha Burke will hold their annual family reunion on Sunday, September 16 at the Rappahannock Park on Route 211 near Washington beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon. “Family members are asked to attend, bring a covered dish and eiyoy the day,” said a spokesperson.
