4-H Members Learn Life Skills
More than 151,000 boys and girls in Virginia are involved in practical learning experiences that introduce them to the world of science and technology.
These youths are the 4-H’ers throughout the state. They learn knowledge, motor skills and techniques from projects written or overseen by Virginia Tech or Virginia State University faculty members.
Such projects, together representing virtually every subject area, are based on the latest research and information.
In addition, the projects teach life skills. 4-H members develop a variety of life skills and attitudes that will help them become self-directing, productive members of society.
