Sidney Mank
joins Sentry Realty
Sidney Mank of Washington, Va., has joined Sentry Realty Inc. as a sales associate at the Warrenton/New Balti-. more office.
Mr. Mank moved to Rappahannock County with his wife Dorothy in 1976 after retiring from the construction business which he formed in Florida in 1949. He is active in. the Rappahannock Lions Club.
A native of New Rochelle, N. Y., Mr. Mank was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in civil engineering and building construction.
During World War II he served with the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion (SeaBees), resigning as lieutenant commander from the regular Navy. In the post-war period he was active briefly as a construction superintendent before going into business in Florida.
New Shed For Sale
The Building Trades Department at R.C.H.S. has one remaining 8’ x 12’ utility shed for sale to the general public. This shed may be seen behind the R.C.H.S. shop between 3:15 and 5:00 today through April 18. The shed has textured plywood siding, a tin roof, 2 storm windows and one 4’ x 6’ door. A list of building materials used will be available at the site.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the R.C.H.S. school office no later than April 18th at 3:30 p.m. The highest bidder will be notified April 19th. The school reserves the right to reject all
