Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and Amanda, Mrs. Ruth Clark, Richie and Edie Eastham returned home Saturday night after spending a week in Del City, Oklahoma visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons.
While there they toured Indian City in Anadarko, Okla., where they saw different Indian cultures. Next they visited Arbuckle Wilderness Land of 2000 exotic animals, which they were able to feed from their hands.
On Wednesday they shopped at the Cherokee Trading Post in Elreno, Okla; land took a guided 'tour of the state capitol. On the front lawn there is, an oil rig set up in full operation that slant drills 1 1/4 miles under the state emblem in the center of the capitol building.
They also toured the Cowboy Hall of Fame, honoring the great cowboy, John Wayne. It contained a room of his replicas, such as the rifle and saddle he used in his movies.
On Thursday night Mr. and Mrs. Simmons had a cookout in honor of Mr. Simmons’ birthday. While there they enjoyed 8r degree temperatures. Mrs. Simmons is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark.
