For example, 4-H’ers keep written records in every project and are encouraged to make oral presentations, thus developing management abilities and communication skills. Also, the youth in the program gain an understanding of group decision making, citizenship and leadership through involvement in club activities.
Overall, affiliation with 4-H enhances responsibility, pride of ownership and accomplishment and selfconfidence.
