children’s choirs, which will march and sing among the audience. The procession will be led by a fife and drum corps in traditional dress. The music will conclude with an invitation for the assembled crowd to join the choirs in singing The Star-Spangled Banner as the fireworks begin.

Microphones, a sound system and musical accompaniment will be provided during the concert. Choir members are encouraged to bring their families and picnic baskets and enjoy an old-fashioned picnic on the lawn of Avon Hall before the concert.
