On Sunday a State Police helicopter conducted an aerial search of the area, including northern Madison County.
Sgt. Gregory said the ongoing investigation is “a team effort. It’s a real good example of different jurisdictions and units working together.” He added that the State Police are being assisted in their investigation by the Rappahannock and Madison County Sheriffs Departments.
