among them the Amissville Ruritan float, which will celebrate the 25th anniversary of that organization’s service to the community.
On Saturday the carnival will begin at 1 p.m., with a special matinee until 5 p.m. The evening will feature another “all you can ride” for $5. The culmination of the evening will be the coronation of the carnival queen. In addition prizes will be given away.
All proceeds from the carnival will go to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department’s general fund. Everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy the festivities.
