Accident
update
Two of the three passengers in the car involved in the fatal accident on June 1 near Chester Gap are still hospitalized. Mrs. Mary Newcomer of Huntly is still in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Fairfax County Hospital.
Jesse Foster is in stable condition at Warren Memorial Hospital following surgery to repair a fracture of the left forearm.
Mrs. Susie Woodard, widow of Clyde H. Woodard, who was killed in the accident, has been discharged from the hospital.
The investigation is continuing and charges are still pending, according to Trooper A. E. Hampton IV, who is handling the State Police investigation..
