Trail ride set A group of Rappahannock horsemen have scheduled a trail ride for Saturday, June 21. The ride will leave from Bill Lyne’s house in Gid Brown Hollow at 9 a.m. It will follow clear trails at an easy pace into the Park, down Piney Branch Trail, across Pickeral Ridge and back to Mr. Lyne’s house. Holistic health course set “Our Bodies as Healers,” a six-week course in holistic health, will begin June 24 at the Child Care and Learning Center. It will be taught by Kathleen Maier, certified physician’s assistant. For more information, contact Mary Tauss, director, at 675-3237. Cost for the course is $60.
Reunion scheduled The Jenkins, Clatterbuck and Woodward family reunion will be held on Sunday, June 15, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Rappahannock Park on Rt. 211 near Washington. Relatives and friends are invited to bring a covered dish.
Flint Hill community picnic The annual Flint Hill community picnic will be held on Sunday, June 22, at 5 p.m. at the carnival grounds. The Ladies Auxiliary will furnish lemonade. “Come, bring a dish or two and eryoy an evening of good fellowship,” said a community organizer.
Ole Hollow reunion planned Families, friends and community members are invited to attend the annual Ole Hollow reunion on Sunday, June 22, at noon at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a beverage.

Faith Mountain The Rappahannock direct marketing group, the Small Farmers’ Market, opens for the season Saturday at 10. The market, formerly at the Ice House in Washington, will be on the side veranda at Faith Mountain in Sperryville, across from the Post Office.
