Rappahannock soon may find a home for its stray dogs.
The county is one of two jurisdictions in Virginia without a state approved kennel. Because of that Rapphannock faces a suit by the Virginia Federation of Humane Societies.
But the county is attempting to hnd acceptable quarters for unclaimed animals. Next week a state veterinarian is expected to inspect a commercial kennel just across the Fauquier County line. . County officials hope the kennel will meet state standards for board
