Spring fever is in the air. Baseball games, track meets, field trips, and weekends of sun each have played a major role in the lives of Rappahannock County High School students. But recently a large number of students got serious and began to give thought to their futures...
Career Day was conducted May 7 at RCHS. Twenty-three specialist in fields ranging from veterinary science to commercial photography came to talk with students one onc one. Representatives from the armed forces also were present.
The visit gave students a chance to learn more about their opportunities after high school. For those who have already decided upon a specific career, Career Day enabled them to come in contact with professionals in their chosen fields.
Ninety-eight juniors and seniors participated in the beneficial event. Commented Senior Alasdair Earley, “I think Career Day was a great opportunity for students to see what life after high school is all about. ”
