Brue Settle
Brue Brewington Settle, 37, of Culpeper, died June 5 at his (laughter’s home. Mr. Settle was a retired fanner.
He is survived by two daughters, Lucy Burke and Gladys Smoot, both of Culpeper, five sons, Cleveland (Buddy) Settle of Springfield, Jamie Settle of Manassas, William (Billy) Settle of Rixevville, John B. Settle and Gene C. Settle, both of Culpeper.
Also surviving are two sisters, Eliza Settle of Amissville and Fannie Flicklin of Maryland, 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted June 8 at the Moody Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Paul Markee. Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery.
