Students’ grades were based on how well they took care of their egg and the journal that was kept.
Seven of 16 eggs made it through the whole week without an accident. Others were involved in such accidents as falling out of lockers or being dropped. One student solved this problem by devising a safety belt for her “baby” (a rubber band).
Most students agreed that being “parents” was nice for a short time but they were glad when the long week was over at last.
