William Cameron, Sr.
William Edgar Cameron, Sr., 71, of Front-Royal, died Monday, June it, l!W(j at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Cameron was bom March 3, 11*15 in Rappahannock County, son of the late James Edgar and Mary North Cameron. He served in the U. S. Army in World War II. He was employed as a logger.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Cameron; one son, William E. Cameron, Jr. of Huntly; one daughter, Melissa Daar of Kansas City, Kan.
Additional survivors include three sisters, Dorothy C. Beaty of Woodbridge, Mary Ann Spiker of Bunker Hill, W. Va., and Nannie C. Poe of Hume: and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 12 at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church, Huntly, with the Rev. James Burke officiating. Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lynn Cameron, Cecil Cameron, Bruce Cameron, Robert Cameron, Virgil Seal and Mike Marsh.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Younkin, Gene Austin, Robert Ramey, Tom Chadwell, Robert Fletcher and Clarence Brady.
