Bloodmobile has
new location
The parish hall of the Warrenton United Methodist Church is the new location of the Red Cross bloodmobile, according to George Borjes, blood services chairman of the Fauquier Chapter of the Red Cross.
“It is well located, on Church Street just off the bypass,” says Borjes. “It is an excellent facility, with plenty of room, adequate parking and an easy entrance for the bloodmobile equipment.”
For many years the bloodmobile used the National Guard Armory, switching to the Warrenton Fire House about two years ago because of difficulties with the air conditioning at the armory. Since the fire department refused to continue the arrangement with the Red Cross earlier this year the chapter has been searching for a new “home” for the bloodmobile.
