ane is tne mother to the reigning Queen Elizabeth II, grandmother to Prince Charles and wife to the late King George VI. She is a very gracious lady whom all would love to have for a grandmother.
After the “tea” we went to the U.S. embassy to meet the new British exchange teachers coming to the U.S. next year. There are five in Virginia and all live near by.
It will be nice to see you all in the fall. As the year draws to a close I send my last letter from England.
