Town of Washington, Virginia (2) Amendments of Zoning Ordinance
of the Town of Washington,

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 15.1-431 of the Code of Virginia, that the Planning Commission of the Town of Washington, Virginia will conduct two public hearings on Thursday, July 10, 1986 beginning at 8:00 p.m., in the Courthouse at Washington, Virginia, to consider the following: (1) Adoption of a Comprehensive
Plan for the Town of Washington,
Virginia (2) Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance
of the Town of Washington,
Virginia to establish
various separate zoning classifications
of land within the
Town, and to regulate uses of
land within the Town, as well
as other amendments to the
same zoning ordinance.
The public hearing on the proposed Plan will be heard first, and the public hearing on the Zoning Ordinance amendments will begin immediately following.
The proposed Comprehensive Plan and the Proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments are available for public inspection at the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a m. and 4:30 p.m.
All citizens are invited to attend and present their views. After consideration of the information presented at the public hearings, the Planning Commission intends to recommend the adoption of a Comprehensive Plan and amendments to the Zoning Ordinance by the Town Council of Washington, Virginia.
This notice is being published in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Rappahannock, Virginia for two successive weeks as required by the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended.
