Clarence Jenkins
Clarence William Jenkins, 70, died June 29 at his residence at Slate Mills. A native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Jenkins was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Lucy Sisk Jenkins, a son Charles H. Jenkins of Front Royal, and two daughters, Charlotte Gaines and Linda Jenkins, both of Slate Mills.
He also leaves*'three brothers, Andrew (Pete) Jenkins, Criglersville, Gid Jenkins, Slate Mills, and Jim Jenkins, Culpeper; eight sisters, Martha Smoot, Poolesville, Md., Marie Smoot, Ruth Leake and Nancy Meredith, all of Culpeper, Ethel Jenkins, Etlan, Nina Jenkins and Gladys Jenkins, both of Slate Mills, and Margaret Weaver of Criglersville, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted July 2 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home, Culpeper, by the Rev. Carl Menefee. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
