Sallie Thornhill of Boston recently reached a milestone: 30 years with the C & P Telephone Company. Mrs. Thornhill began working as an operator in 1954, and two years later transferred to the Culpeper business office. As a long-time member of the community, C & P customers came to expect to see Mrs. Thornhill at the Culpeper office.
