In addition, a living history field hospital from North Carolina will be in operation throughout the day at Ben Lomond Farm. The farm served as a field hospital during both First and Second Manassas. Also on Saturday afternoon, the City of Manassas will re-create the 1911 Peace Jubilee during which veterans of both armies met in the town in a show of national unity.
Tours and the sale of commemorative items will continue July 20. The commemoration events will end July 21 with a wreath-laying ceremony by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
