The Retired Teachers Association gave a luncheon Tuesday at the Corner Post for Mrs. Lucia Kilby and Mrs. Dorothy Butler, teachers at Rappahannock County Elementary School who retired this year.
Mrs. Harald Havstad recently returned from a month’s visit with relatives and friends in Norway, Sweden and Germany. During her absence Frances Tabler and Ruth Blackwell were in the Havstad home.
Wilson Burke is recuperating at home after a stay in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
