Edward Page Moffett, NROTC, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. of Washington, Va., was awarded a Regular scholarship in the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. He was a contract student and received no tuition or retainer pay for the first part of his college education. Upon graduation he will be commissioned an ensign in the U.S. Navy.
Saturday at the Elementary School in Sperryville will be the last day of registration for the Little League sponsored by the Rappahannock J aycees.

Company, Culpeper, will be guest speaker for the meeting July 3 of the Amissville Extension Homemakers Club. His topic will be automobile insurance, a subject which concerns every household of today. The group will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the educational rooms of the Amissville Baptist Church.
