6:30 p.m. Entry will be $2 per person, plus a covered dish. During the evening, three prizes will be awarded: an original framed painting by a local artist (to be viewed at the Rappahahnqck National Bank); two tickets for a dinner at the Corner Post any evening of your choice; a handsome bowl and pitcher set.
Tickets at $1 may be purchased July 4th at our booth, or from members in town who will be selling tickets between now and the 11th.
There has been a demonstrated need for an organization of this type in the past when it was associated with the Cancer Society. That association has been discontinued and we feel that by expanding the loan of items to anyone who has a need for them, regardless of their type of illness, more of our citizens can be helped without having to worry about affordability.
